Looking for a personal approach to film and video?
Rory Connolly is a filmmaker, videographer and editor based in Brighton, England.
I have been enamoured by the potential of the moving image to inform, entertain and enchant audiences for as long as I can remember. Since completing my Filmmaking MA in 2022, I have expanded into corporate and events videography work for organisations that make a difference in the local community, as well as continuing to work on creative film projects.
Whatever capacity I am working in, I will be sure to bring an enthusiasm for the creative potential of film and video, and a dedication to any project I am collaborating on from conception to completion.
I have worked in many capacities within fiction filmmaking - producing, directing, sound and editing, to name a few. I particularly enjoy working on projects that straddle the line between conventional narrative and experimental film to produce a transcendent experience.

I also recognise the importance of effective video communication for community organisations, particularly those which support young people with SEND like myself. I have worked with groups including Amaze Sussex and Brighton Fringe to produce informational videos that aim to improve accessibility and inclusion.
